Middle Dutch literature

Middle Dutch literature encompasses the body of texts written in the Middle Dutch language (c. 1150–1500), including religious works, chivalric romances, poetry, and didactic prose that reflect the cultural, social, and linguistic developments of the medieval Low Countries.
